Badr Al-Aqabani is a Syrian writer and computer engineer based in Damascus. He heads the Data and Artificial Intelligence Department at The Syria Report, where he works on building documented databases on Syria’s transitional period. Alongside his work in data and technology, he writes on film and cultural criticism for platforms including Al-Araby Al-Jadeed, Al-Modon, Ultra Sawt, Ayn Ala Al-Cinema and The Syrian Revolution.
