Vanessa Barisch ist freie Journalistin. Sie studierte Migrationsforschung in Osnabrück und Lissabon sowie European Studies in Passau und Rom. Danach arbeitete sie im Bereich der deutschen internationalen Zusammenarbeit, u.a. zum UN-Friedensprozess für Syrien und in der Hochschulkooperation. Besonders interessiert sie sich für die Themenfelder Kunst & Kultur, globale Gerechtigkeit, Feminismus, Migration und nachhaltigen Tourismus. Sie lebt zwischen Tunis und Augsburg.
