Siamend Hajo
European Centre for Kurdish Studies (EZKS)
Siamend Hajo, born in northeast Syria in 1967, studied political science at the Free University of Berlin. Since 1999 he has been a board member of the European Centre for Kurdish Studies (EZKS) in Berlin. He was active in the opposition alliance, the Kurdish National Council (KNR), and most recently co-founded the Syrian Kurdistan Front. (Photo: Siamend Hajo, private)
