Pankaj Mishra, born in 1969, is an Indian novelist and essayist known for his critiques of colonialism, fascism and inequality. His latest book, "The World After Gaza" (2025), explores the political and moral crisis created by Israel's destruction of Gaza. His earlier works include "From the Ruins of Empire" and "Age of Anger".
