The Darvish is a Syrian belly dancer and queer activist who left Syria in 2016 to settle in Berlin. They co-authored the book "ZUGZWÄNGE", which brings together the stories of activists, artists and refugees who have transformed their communities. They also co-organised one of Berlin's largest solidarity parties for queer refugees, Queens Against Borders.
