Sabine Schmidtke

Sabine Schmidtke is a scholar of Islamic intellectual history at the School of Historical Studies at the Institute for Advanced Studies, Princeton NJ, USA. She was awarded her PhD at Oxford in 1990; during the 1990s, she worked as a diplomat for the German Foreign Office and, at the same time, completed her habilitation at the University of Bonn (1999).
