Issa Amro is a Palestinian human rights activist, born in Hebron in 1980. He co-founded and coordinates Youth Against Settlements in Hebron, which organizes nonviolent activities and documents human rights violations related to Israeli settlements and the occupation. He is officially recognized as a human rights defender by the European Union. In 2024, he received the Right Livelihood Award in recognition of his commitment to nonviolent activism, as well as the Franco-German Prize for Human Rights and the Rule of Law.
