Joseph Daher, is an academic and currently teaches at the University of Lausanne (Switzerland), and at the University of Ghent (Belgium). He is also a specialist on the Political Economy of the Middle East and the author of several books, including: Hezbollah: The Political Economy of Lebanon’s Party of God, Syria After the Uprising: The Political Economy of State Resilience and Palestine and Marxism.
