PEN International: "Writers in Prison Day" 2017

 "Writers in Prison Day" is held annually on 15 November to draw attention to the plight of arrested and persecuted writers, journalists, cartoonists, publishers and bloggers around the world. PEN International uses the day to highlight selected cases, such as that of the Syrian human rights lawyer Razan Zaitouneh.
